The Level 3 First Aid at Work course is a comprehensive three-day program tailored for individuals looking to become proficient designated first aiders in a variety of workplace settings. Our interactive and engaging course covers essential topics such as first aid principles, emergency situation assessment, CPR and AED usage, unconscious casualty management, wound and injury treatment, and common medical emergency response. Participants will also learn about handling eye, ear, and nose injuries, as well as dealing with burns, scalds, and poisoning incidents. The course emphasizes practical skills, record-keeping, and first aid kit management to ensure a well-rounded learning experience. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a nationally recognized certification, valid for three years, empowering them to tackle various first aid situations with confidence and contribute to a safer work environment.Assessment
The Level 3 First Aid at Work course assessment consists of two main components: practical assessments and a written examination. These assessments are designed to evaluate participants' understanding of the course material, as well as their ability to apply first aid techniques and procedures effectively in real-life situations. 1. Practical Assessments: Throughout the three-day course, participants will be continuously observed and evaluated by the instructor as they demonstrate their skills in various first aid scenarios. This includes administering CPR and using an AED, managing unconscious casualties, treating wounds and injuries, and responding to common medical emergencies. 2. Written Examination: At the end of the course, participants will be required to complete a written examination consisting of multiple-choice questions that cover key topics from the course material. This assessment will test participants' knowledge of first aid principles, emergency response procedures, and specific treatment methods for different types of injuries and medical conditions.What you will learn

This is a blended learning course with one-day for self-study, followed by two-days of training in classroom (9 hours).First Aid at Work Course Assessment
During the FAW course, you will be assessed on your ability to correctly administer first aid in a variety of emergencies. You will also be required to complete a practical assessment to test your ability to apply first aid skills in a real-life situation. The assessment requirements for the FAW Certificate include a practical assessment and 2x multiple-choice exam in which you need 100% to pass (10 MCQs & 15 MCQs).First Aid at Work Course Certification
On successful completion of the FAW course, you will receive a First Aid at Work Certificate & Photo ID Card. This FAW certificate is valid for three years and must be renewed if you wish to continue to act as a first aider in the workplace.First Aid at Work Course Requirements
To qualify and become a first aider at work. You need: • To be 16 years and olderRecognition and Management of Illness and Injury in the Workplace
1. Injuries to bones, joints, and muscles 2. Head and spinal injuries 3. Chest and abdominal injuries 4. Eye, ear, and nose injuries 5. Burns and scalds 6. Poisoning incidents 7. Anaphylaxies management 8. Major illnesses, including heart attack, stroke, epilepsy, asthma, and diabetes 9. Temperature-related illnesses, such as heatstroke and hypothermia 10.
